Barr Family Christmas 1995

Every Christmas at the Barr house on Elm Street was like magic. Christmas Eve was a huge Open House Christmas Party where half the county would stop in and visit. Everyone received a handmade gift Frank made in his workshop. Frank is the personification of Santa Claus. Then after the last guest, it was time to let Santa do his thing to the tree. Christmas morning was a crazy storm of wrapping paper and ribbons and boxes. The heyday was in the 80’s and 90’s.

This was filmed on a VHS camcorder on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in 1995. An amazing collection of personalities, many no longer with us, preserved for our enjoyment. Frank converted these VHS files on his iMac and Rick processed them and uploaded them. Some of the notable folks we see in this video:
Chuck Knee
Tom Stout
Charles Caldwell
Irene Caldwell
Carmen Hunter
David Hunter
Kate Hunter
David Hunter Jr
David Schetzle
Wendy Whitlow
Kitty Whitlow
