Aubrey Falls

Another reel from the Charles Barr collection. Charles and Rachael travel back to their favorite fishing area in Ontario, Canada. This was filmed in the 1956 or 1957 time-frame. This film chronicles a side trip to Aubrey Falls. Nice rainbow effect at the foot of the falls caught here. Also, interesting footage of the huge old wooden log chute used to safely move logs past the falls. More great footage of the lake. In one shot of Rachael fishing in the boat you can see how crystal clear the water is. With some unknown fishing partners we see some pretty good-sized fish, including Charles’ trophy-winning catch of the season. Some fascinating footage on this reel.
